Historical background:
Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp (19 March 1848 – 13 January 1929) was born in Monmouth, Illinois. He was one of the protagonists of the gunfight at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, Arizona, together with Doc Holliday, Virgil Earp and Morgan Earp, and is one of the legendary figures of the American West who inspired countless westerns.
Wyatt Earp was a lawman famous in the American West for his toughness with lawbreakers, incorruptible and bold in his methods. He won his fame in Tombstone, where one of his brothers was killed and another crippled in revenge attacks by his enemies.
